FRIDAY

Two violins, an accordion, three voices carrying a beautiful music to dance. Le Morimont is delighted to welcome these three musicians to open the festival!

GRO

FRIDAY

They played at the Morimont a long, long time ago, for a ball at a crafts event. Back then, they were known as the ROR Trio: a trio of flute, accordion, mandolin and guitar whose repertoire draws on the Swiss, Portuguese and Swedish influences of each of its members. With Linda, Gro will also be hosting the Gnomes’ Ball!

La Sylva

Some musicians return often to the Morimont stage, and Fabien Bucher is one of them. In this string trio (cello, violin, guitar-mandolin), the artists take us on an Eastern-flavoured dance with an energy that will have us jigging like we love it!

The voice in the spotlight: this year’s festival theme is just right for them! Get ready to soar to the sound of these three voices, percussion and electronic music with an Occitan flavour. Look out for this rare gem in Alsace!

To round off this eclectic Saturday evening, here are some musicians we’ve grown to love, delivering a raw, traditional, rock sound. With four of them on stage, you won’t have to pretend to dance to give them back the energy they’ll be giving us!

Another gentle gem: a duo with complex, subtle melodies that take us into a dreamlike world, so you can start the Sunday dance with butterflies in your tummy!

Femti Fem

SUNDAY

Northern trad, you name it! The four musicians lay down their Scandinavian style with passion and class. The strings (vocal and instrumental) resonate with an alchemy that makes for a flawless Scandinavian ball. What an honour to welcome them!

La Sialyre (Duo Lachia-Quere)

This is not the duo’s first ball. For the pleasure of trad dancing, they bring the festival to a close with authentic music that’s full of complicity.
