First Workaway Experience – by Tish

For my very first Workaway experience ever, I basked in the sunshine of this beautiful region of the world and in the cheerful personalities of the other workaway volunteers, Hannah and Annika! We were so fortunate to have a range of tasks to perform in this stunning location, and to be treated with amazing hospitality by our hosts. We encountered kittens, bees, horses, chickens, ghosts (at least, I think I did…), ruined castles, guitar lessons, flea markets, spectacular countryside, good food, amazing wine, fresh air, and new friendships. It was a wonderful introduction to the Workaway experience and I will never forget it.
